I knew how to do this once before,

what's the best type of reflection map to simulate metal for a logo?

Common one is a sunny beach/desert scene reflection... so you have a blue gradient for the sky and kind of yellow gradient (sand etc) in the bottom... Generally pretty bright...

Hey Richpr, thanks for the advice. I used some of the stock reflection images that came with Lightwave and got the job done. Whew!
