Thise very big irises (plural?) are still somehow creepy...alien like :)

But at the same time it looks very cute...anyway, i like it a lot!

Just out of curiosity, how did you achieve the very flat finish and color on her skin? Is it mostly a product of your rendering? It kind of reminds me of surfaces that sub-scatter light.

I like the texture of the purple scales. This is a nice image. I don't think there is anything wrong with the eyes. Her face looks a little like Miss Piggy. I hope that's not an insult, because i think you did a great job.

tomclancy_jack: it is a straight render with radiosity with a little post in photoshop ( curve adjustment to increase the contrast );) Does it really look like SSS?


Lynx3d: yes she is an alien creature but I turn her into a mermaid for my upcoming pic.


richpr: she originally does not have hair. I was experimenting and somehow I think she look more seductive with tresses.

As ever, georgeous! Love them as a couple!

Perhaps one thing that makes the eyes look odd is the big highlight right over one dark centre, but not the other?

Hi dzogchen, i agree with those saying these would make a marketable toy....they look great.

I think the pisces sign would look much better if they were lit by the same lights. It appears that it is a flipped duplicate. What does it look like when lit by the same lighting? I also think that the hilight in only one eye is odd as mentioned before. Placing something in the scene to reflect in the eyeball would be nice.

Just my 2C worth.

In the image, the girl who is upsidedown, the specular reflection is opposite of the other girls, like you copied the left one and pasted it after rotating it.

Wow you are so observant:D Indeed I only render one and duplicate the other in Photoshop:D

THe pisces idea came to me when I was reading my horoscope while doing a test render :D
