I'm using mac version of LW.
I have been trying to set the frame rate to NTSC 29,97. But no matter what I do, the frame rate in final videos is always 30..
Is it possible to do it?

Are you saving your rendered animation as sequenced still images? (TGA, PNG, TIF, etc) or are you saving as a QT MOV file? If you're saving as a QT movie you also have to assign the 29.97 in the QT options/compression area of the render globals window.

If you're saving your animation as a QT movie you might be better off saving as sequenced files. You can then open the files into either QT Pro or AfterEffects and assign any frame rate you want to the animation.

I'm not sure if there is an issue with saving animations out of LW as 29.97fps files, though.

Thanks for your reply. I tried making Quicktime MOV file and was puzzled why the file always ends up being 30fps whatever I choose.
I confirmed from NewTek guy that this is indeed a bug in LW since 9.3.. Cant make QT movies other than 30fps, period.
Therefore I will use sequenced files until the bug is fixed.
