Hi all,

Scene: Moving/Posing woman in bikini. The woman is blurred but the bikini is in focus.

I am trying to export my scene so that each object is in its own Layer.

Can this be done?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

The only thing I can think of is select an object and press F11 and then save as a 32 bit file.

Well, if each of your objects only contains one surface, you could use special buffers in combination with ASA-Buffersaver or other tools. However, this will only give you kinda additional mask channel for the visible parts and not the complete object (since overlapping is not compensated). Using multiple rendered files and then combining them manually in PS may be much more efficient (and less prone to errors).

Thanks for your quick answers.

I should have made it clear that this was part of an animation.

FYI:The options I have already thought of are to have the bikini Unseen by Camera and render the animation. That gives me the body really well and I could even use DOF in Lightwave or else take the frames into Photoshop. This gives me nice shadows and everything!

The difficulty lies with the bikini. I tried F11 and the bikini With the body Unseen by Camera but it gives me the whole bikini which then needs additional touch up in Photoshop. Not too bad but I am wary of ammendments later so this could end up being very time consuming.

Thanks for the ideas and I will try the special buffers now and see if this will work.
