Well, here's another complaint in VT3's handling of legacy (VT2) projects.

Each and every clip comes in with shadows enabled.
Just got done going through a project having to uncheck shadows from the control tree. I realize the tooshed would be of use here by selecting multiple clips and applying to all of them once, but just about every clip has unique color correction and other settings.

Shadows is a pain due to it's lopping off about 10 pixels from the top and bottom.

While on the subject, tried setting up a toolshed setting with 'shadows' unchecked, but when performed on a clip it won't uncheck the shadows enabled.

How to??

Add another to the list - color correction settings.
Where did the gamma correction settings go??
This is ONE HUGE pain. Half hour T2 edit project with tons of different clips. I'm, having to go over each and every clip again in T3 to try to get cc settings back to where they were. This is not good, coupled with having to redo cropping & positioning changes.

Where did gamma go?????

Productivity dollars are going down the drain with all the work that is needing to be re-done, not to mention any past projects that were edited in T2 that we will need to pull into T3 for re-edits (when they come up in the future).

I was pondering where the gamma went also. About the closest thing I can find is the "set peak levels" option in the toolshed. It does (as far as I can tell) adjust the high/low levels of your clip and is actually quite nice, although irritatingly it is a per-clip setting only and -not- keyframeable.
