well I thought I would eventually put all the little bits of tutorials I have done over the last year into a character...progress so far :D
(the green bit is were the ear will go!)
Crits and comments welcome... as usual :)
This character will eventually be in an anim, kind of moody and a bit weird! but i'll get to that later when it's done :D

Please do not be upset, sometimes many of us do not surf
even our favorite forum every day.
As to comments on your character...( I am of intermediate
level both as artist, and as animator at best ) so take my
comments as observations only.
I like the rotating gif as it shows all of the model, and what I
see is this... Nice form and shape, but the ears are a little thin.
For this character to display emotion you may want to make
the eyes a little bigger. The muscle tone around the neck
looks rather thick for the rather bony facial features but at the
same time I think it is interesting. Something about the nostrils
does not look quite right, maybe too thin. Defnitely keep
going on this and keep updating the changes you make and
the progress. and someone will give you the benefits of higher
skills than I can I am sure.

Looks cool.
And never mind the uninterests...I`ve posted many characters to this forum, and they never get attention...Sometimes I see bad characters have more positive attention...It is said

Thanks guys for the comments. I do dislike how some threads can get comments and others don't, even if they're crap!?!
Still, what can you do? Update soon...:p

update is here! tweaked the nose and the ears, though in this imgae you can't really see it. Done some quick texturing. I was playing about, and because it's kinda hot hear I thought I would try and see if I could do a sweat effect using light insidence gradient thingy.
Well see what ya think:

update,
I've filled out the cheeks a bit, but I like the look of the hallow face as it is!
:D
becasue I've only just attached the head, the neck is a bit creased but i'll iron that out soon
The body isn't particuarlly detailed because I'm planning to put MD clothes over it!

looks good, but i think you need to work on ironing out some of those square looking muscles. The tendons around the neck look very strange too, mabe try making the them a bit more subtle, it seems a bit overdone.
