Is there a cut tool in lightwave that's like the cut tool in 3ds max?

I'm looking for a new way to cut through geometry, but connecting to the points. Just like the cut tool in 3ds max. :lwicon:

Can anyone give me suggestions?

Maybe the knife tool under subdivide.

Also look at the Add Edges tool under the Detail Tab in Modeler
