If I were him I wouldn't feel so scared for that green vase, must've been his mother's. Good stuff!
Thanks, guys!
b.t.w, I love the way I can influence HardFX. In this case, for example, It's 1Piece>parts by event, and the whole "explosion" is mostly done by the bounce and self collision settings of the parts. A big explosion, where all parts would fly away very fast wouldn't have worked with the animation, imho.

Hey Dirk,
Nice done, now make some dominos fall, without them bouncing after they fell 1 by 1 :)
Greetings,
Sigurd

As far as I can tell, that's not possible with HardFX (I'd love to see someone do it).
The problem is not so much to rest the pieces, but the collision detection and behaviour of the hardFX parts (if an object is broken up into parts) is so bad, it's not going to work. The parts have the tendency to slide away from each other, they simply can't be piled up... if StopByStabilizer would work better, maybe.

When I get time, I want to see what the possibilities are for using Blender's dynamics and exporting them into Lightwave. Maybe the dominos could be done after all. I've experimented a lot with Blender's fluids, but all that is mesh sequence exports. With dynamics you could probably use MDD exports right?

evolross: the intention is to get it done with LW only. Blender, Maya, XSI, ... can all handle this, except LW. At least as far as I know HardFX can't do it. My question is, what can do it, ODEfl?
