System Requirements

I'm curious - I'm working with a school, who has a toaster that is getting a little older it's only the 1.8 GHZ dual system. They have a handful of Dell computers that meet all the requirements for the VT5 with 800 FSB etc.... Is there any known problem with going with Dell? Or any other type of Gateway computer etc..... I'm worried that there will be some battle with the toaster card, or a mis-compatibility issue. Any thoughts
