Record Toaster Output Please Help

Hello there

I have the VT2 Animators Edtion Build is 3890

I have the two component BNC In / Out Cables
Newtek sent me the BNC To YC Adapters.

for the input i connect them to green and the red bnc i have the same for the output.
im going out to a consumer S-VHS Deck
i cant get a signal to record my project that im playing from the DDR And mapped to the switcher..

I've tried everything and still no picture to record please help.

i went into prefrences / System and i selected Component and i tried YC still no output what am i doing wrong ... need to turn in the tapes today.

Scratching my head here (I'm away from my VT at present, and you need a prompt reply. I also haven't used the switcher much... :confused: )

Sounds like you tried both component (which shouldn't work properly) and YC, which should...

Is your project visible on a ToasterVision monitor set to 'Program out'?

On a completely different angle, does your S-VHS deck have a setting to select which input - S-video or composite - it's using? Is this set correctly?

If your DDR is the souce, then record Program Out.

i testes both cables and found out that i have one bad (output cable has no signal ) i was able to switch the cable with the input cable and finall recorded the program thanks for all your tips
