- There's almost as much work lining up a boolean so it cuts on the vertices as there is in just adding edges around points lined up in a bkg layer then merged in segments so you get this type of thing.

But on a less repeatable shape with tighter geometry it's a pitb. Maybe I've been doing too many holes lately?
