I did the lighting for this quickly generated serious game environment. Please comment.

The full render (6144x3449) took about 10 hours on a 2 core 32 bit machine(our engine also required us to render additional alpha passes to break the city blocks into layers for actual use). 5 passes with a radiosity settings of 2x6, 1 bounce, and noise reduction were used. The attached image is not pristene due to compression to get it under the 5Mb attachment limit.

Comments are most welcome! -Mike

Glad you guys like it. :)

Serious Sam I wish. It's a military training game that runs in Flash.
The blue dot is a photoshop layer used for checking depth sorting...we basically precompute everything since flash is derned slow.

Pretty cool! I'm curious about the flash game, can you post a link when its finished or is it classified?

What's up with the floating doors?

I'll bet you kicked everyone's a-ss at "Find Waldo" didn't you ... Jeez - good eye.

It looks very much like a CoD4 map (which I happen to like).

Thanks guys. Can't post any links unless I'm told I can.

Yes, there are lots of floating doors, extra geometry, and shading problems that shouldn't be in there...had to manually add "vector phone lines" which have some aliasing issues too. Those little things bug me, but I simply don't have the time to fix them.
We purchased the the environment, converted it from max, and tweaked it maybe 10% BTW. Only been working on it for a week but I'm already getting behind schedule.

Thanks for the comments guys! -Mike
