I've heard rumours, but sadly, no mention from Siggraph. Very disappointed if there isn't some implementation.

I'd appreciate it if anyone has any news... -Bob

I hope we will have some good implementation or at least the "Ska" plugin incorporated with some code improvements.

I really hope so, but in the meantime I think the gradient "Thickness" feature was meant to be a stop gap!

Surface Thickness is a great feature.

I reckon it's a great tool to have... Although I have to apologise for you not having to pay $400 for it.. ;) Too bad I guess.
