Ok so this was my weekend exploration on ffx... as a result here is tribute to ffx and newtek dev team. hope you like it. there is more images.
1st one is SHARP , 2nd one id DOF applied (in after effects) to show ffx and dof work together.
and there is some variations in silver ball on 3rd image...

what i have to say at the end. ffx is coming along very nicely and is really looking great from every new update....

also a bit of tech data. guides were done in modeler, render is FG interpolated radiosity.
shadow was rendered in 2 passes since i still strugle with some issues in ffx so soft shadows is from INTERPOLATED mode and base render is point mode.
render time 8 minute at this big resolution.....

Extremely impressive. I love this image and I think it is a great example of what you can do with FFX.

Great job!

yes main goal was to show strengths of ffx: combing tools, shadows, reflection, dof and how raytrace shadw and GI work with it.

Nice render mav3rick !

Did you have to use volume only mode for reflections to show up ? I am still learning the tricks.

No i didnt use any of those extra modes. it is just plain ffx applied and all worked fine.
