at siggraph this year we saw that maya supports 3d viewports via a range of solutions from the basic colored glasses, lcd shutter glasses and lenticular screens and now nvidia is looking to launch a range of 3d glasses for games and apps soon seen here>

so how about lightwave?
would be nice to have the ability to 'see in 3d' in the viewport and if you watch the maya demo here>>

so what's the thoughts on all this 3d viewiing...with journey to the center of the earth being a 3d film and avatar due out in 2009 seems theres a shift back to all things '3d' like we had back in the 1950's!
and while we're at can we finally get the space navigator working in modeler please!
