photometric lights question

where can I get the .ies light files or how do I make them if they can be made?

Most lighting manufacturers create and provide IES files of their lighting fixtures free of charge. I will usually google a lighting manufacturer's name and the words IES and FILE. Such as:
Color Kinetics IES File

You will usually find a big zip file or individual ies files.

If you do some searches on this forum I know that I and other people have posted many links to ies files as well.
