I need a good way to deinterlace and interpolate

What is the best way for me to deinterlace AND interpolate an rtv clip? I see the defield effect in the Toaster[2]. Does that interpolate as well? Or does it just defield?

Render as a progressive scan RTV.
(It's an format choice in the render panel.)

That is probably exactly what I am needing. Thanks!!! I will try it on Monday. I'm doing some work in Lightwave and the interlaced video doesn't look real good when it is resized. This will hopefully help.
