I've been learning LW for 4 months. This is my second project. But it is not finished yet. So I'll be grateful for any notes.:)

The first things that jump out at me are the scale of your textures. For instance the wall in the evening shot that the TV hangs on is much too large; same as the side of the stairs, try scaling them down some.
The scale on chair textures is too large as well in all the shots.
Is it for an architectural project or a game?

I would suggest a little radiocity if possible if you're looking for photorealistic type shots. For four months, it looks pretty good. Makes me want to grab a cup of coffee and sit next to that fire place.

Agree about GI.
Your shadows are hard. If you have a warm setting, you want soft shadows.
Use area lights, sphere lights, or Global Illumination
