My first post so howdy all.
Gotta quick inquiry and wanted to get everyone's opinion. I have a Tricaster Studio and I find myself never using the Waveform device. Does anyone use this feature for their productions?

I always check the waveform monitor if the video I'm recording matters i.e. I'm getting paid for it.

I hear what you are saying. We do not do "broadcast" video much. Well, we never do actually. Mostly to projector at church. So would this be used mostly for broadcast situations then? Are most people in the same boat as me? Meaning non-broadcast types.

As long as you are showing to an audience you are 'broadcasting'. ;)
Scopes are an incredibly valuable tool for video producers. Learning just the basics will greatly enhance your grasp of what's going on in your feed.
