A very fun style. Nice work.
For the hair you could try something like a really long Lara Croft type pony tail. It would echo her long legs nicely. JUT :)

Great model. I kinda like the hair as is. And i like how she blinks when you rotate her in the VR movie. Nice job.

very nice design, but as you are aiming to details, it should be nice for us if you uploaded some close-up shots... would love to see some. i like the way her shirt is done; you didn't use motion designer did you? will she be animated some day?

Thanks,
no motion designer, yet.
I modeled it all by hand.
When I say detail I mean that I am trying to make her accurate as to what a woman would wear and carry. So up close you would realize there actually isn't any details as in hinges or holes in the belt kind of detail. I am talking about gross detail in what will look good in an animation were you wouldn't be focused on what she is wearing.
Here is the original model I started with
http://www.byjason.com/media/dominique-mk0.jpg
obviously a nude character with a hint of a collar the breasts joined into one shape to make it seem like she is clothed. So I decided to add some clothing to her;
Here is my fist clothed version,

since I am going for a 20ish woman in summer clothing then there is not enough skin exposed. At least for NY. I was still cheating the top and realized that for the summer it is too long, if it was colder then her belly would not be exposed. So I choped off a chunk of her torso remodeled it and ran it though thickener to give it mass then rejoined it into the existing torso and legs.
Here she is after that work:

Alot better. Then I decided that is was missing a belt, loops, jewelry etc so I started adding things that I thought were fun to add.
Which resulted in this:

So now I am looking at hair styles (it will remain short) and am beginning to think sandles or something open toed may be more appropriate. I am going for a cutsy kind of feel for her.
This should give you an idea of where I am trying to go with this.
Once she is done I will do some kind of animation.
propably more info than you need to know. :D
I'll post some close-ups later and maybe some shots of her broken down by object so you can see how it all fits together

I think this is brilliant ! :)
Love the colors , and the style. If I had one tiny criticism it's the elbows , they look a little 'pinched'/sharp , maybe this was intentional ?
Anyways , great stuff !
