this is a toy truck, its a low poly (3k). I spent maybe 45mins or so on it. realy rough. I didn't wanna go sub's so its only polys. but id like to make it much more rounder/smoother. i have smoothing on @ 23deg. any C&C welcome.

What's it for? Are you limited in poly count?

I'd try 30 degrees smoothing if you can't raise the number.

Its for a game a friend is making. it has a cap of 3k polys. I tryed an angle from 18-79, doesnt really smooth out?

If you are using the actual geometry in the game, smoothing isn't going to do anything for you - at least if you are refering to the actual surface properties.

Yes, its giong to be the geometry. So if i understand correct, that the smoothing angle isnt going to do anything about making it look smoother?
The model is capped at 3k polys, so what would u suggest for making it much smoother like on the fenders, hood, bumper, and cab?

I'd be tempted to save some polys on the wheel and grill detail and use that to give extra geometry in the bigger rounding areas.
