Skewer the Ewer!

I saw a really nice photo of a simple water skewer and peaches composition at our local art store. It inspired me to actually get back on the 3D horse a bit. Just modeling so far. The handle isn't connected to the ewer yet, and I haven't decided if I should even bother. Here's what I have so far.....

How did you do the handle?

Thanx Surrealist! I always keep your tutorials on sub-D's in the back of my mind when trying to do something like this. I can't wait till if finally sinks in though! To make the handle, I just used the gears tool, then stole the face from it to make a poly for rail extrude. I then just tweaked the handle until it looked like something kinda nice.

Cool man. I wondered if rail extrude was involved. A real good piece of work there and thanks for the nod, but looks like you really have the hang of it. Looking foreword to seeing more. :)
