Render crash

I have a simple scene setup and everytime that I try to render a scene or a frame, Lightwave goes unresponsive and I have to force quit the app. I have tried to remove the camera and add a new one, but once I move the new cam, the program responds the same way.

I don't know much about it, but I had a similar experience last night while rendering a scene of 100 frames. It too was a rather simple scene. AVI video for the BG, comped with a model of a deer in the road getting hit by a truck. It rendered 91 frames and then crashed, unforunately I wasn't saving out images, just the animation. I was using Lightwave 9.5 x64 for Windows.

Need more info. What are you rendering? What are your system specs? How long have you let it go before killing it? Using any effects? or 3rd party plugins?
