How 'bout this....

Ability to trigger DDR/switcher transition/etc via a midi command. Maybe even select a source?

Send midi commands from the timeline. To trigger light/sound effects during a show.


And how about setting up RS422 to accept input as well. Coupled with the Genlok option, VT would then act as the ultimate D1 VTR system slaved to incomming control and timecode. Great for audio post.

In order for Midi to really work VT3 needs the Cue thing I have been asking for. Because once you can build cues lists then the midi part is easy.
