tricaster studio and vm

I'm using Studio and a VM for 3 cam productions. When I select black on the VM, it puts up a color bg. Can I assume that this is because the VM is not really intended for the Studio? If I am wrong, any suggestions on how to get black to come up when selected?:help:

You're probably going to need to dial up a solid black background in the BG Generator.
