This is probably a dumb question but I have three tracks of video on sepatate track in the time line that are synchronized and can't figure out how to switch from one track to the other to play certain parts from each track. I am used to using Vegas where you put in points to switch tracks. Any thoughts???

When clips overlap on the timeline, the bottom-most clip is the one you will see foremost on the screen. There are a number of ways to eliminate portions of the lower full-length clips to allow upper ones to show through for a specified duration. This is just one:

Multi-select the three clips.
Position the mouse above the lower edge of one of the upper clips and drag left or right. (Notice the clip you are scrubbing through is the one displayed on the monitor, even when other material is below it on the timeline.)
Find a place where you would like the upper clip content to be visible, and press "m" on the keyboard - this will add a clip marker to all selected clips.
Use the same 'local scrub' technique to find the place where you want to cut to another clip, and add another clip marker.
Keep doing this until you have all your edit decisions marked.
Click the Tool Shed tab, and expand the Markers group at left.
Select "Razor Cut (Markers)" and click Perform.

Now you just need to select and delete the appropriate lower sections from the timeline, letting the upper clips show through at the correct points.

Another way is set it up as Steve describes except make sure the clip you want to cut to is highlighted and press 'Z'. This ads a cut and makes the selected clip active. Rinse and repeat.

The active parts of the clips will display light grey on the time line and the inactive parts dark grey. The time line is a little more confusing with this method but there are fewer steps.
