"LightWave 3D [8] is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2003"

So what dates generally define 4th quarter?

The 4th quarter is Oct 1st - Dec 31.
In other words the last three months of the year.

Was a tradition for version 6.0

but 7.0 arrived without anyone knowing:)
