I recieved the following errors while upgrading to the new Tricaster 2.0 software from the supplied flash drive.
CRC error. the file C;|Tricaster\effects\transistations\curls\DVE Data\upper Left Roll. NTSC.dve doesn't match the file in the setups.cab file.
another one was the same error code except "curls" it said "leafs". The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted, contact your software vender. I also recieved a third CRC error
c:\tricaster\user data user\ title templete\Alltemplates_\_20 Grouped\fire-side left\BK.png doesn't match the file in the setups.cab.file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted, contact your software vender.
I did call tech support and spoke with Sara and she said that managment was aware of these problems and are attempting to correct them and they will make an announcment when the corrections have been made.

I have had the same sort of problems trying to upgrade my TCPRO, I did press ignore as it seemed to be just fx files which I thought could be rectified later. However the next message was a "catastrophic failure" message requiring a restart. On restarting there was no sign of any Tricaster files on the C: drive so the upgrade software refused to try again. I looked in the manual for the restore instructions but alas the restore option (when you restart the machine F8 etc) is not there, although the Ghost files for the restore are still on the D: drive. I am in touch with tech support at the moment and hopefully we can get this resolved as at the moment I have a vanilla XP box with a load of connectors on the outside.

Newtek sent out a new USB stick and that has now worked. It was a bitof a bind recovering the previous installation after the first upgrade attempt, Planet PC the suppliers were very helpful. The only issue I am now having is that the installation is NTSC only and I have not found a way to convet it to PAL, hopefully I will get a response soon.
