We do a lot of "live" lecture formatted productions and I'm curious if there are ways to bring a PowerPoint presentation into the Toaster as an input?
I have a converter box, Extron VSC500, that does a pretty good job of converting VGA to RGB, acceptable quality but would like better, and the RGB is input through the SX-8.
Are there other techniques that would work in a "live" setting?

Wouldn't it be nice if VT3 recognized the Power Point output as an input the same way it sees Windows Media Player?
I do recall a post not too long ago (from Paul) that you can down load for free from Microsoft a program to convert power point into an avi I believe.
At that point you could then load the avi into a DDR & to a live switch between cameras & power point, etc. including outputting all this to screens for the actual presentations!
This would take your presentations to whole new level.

Also found THIS (http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/producer.aspx)
Thanks for the URL's, Rick!

if you check out this tread "http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4983" the last post states that MS producer does not export to avi and from what I can see after downloading producer is correct despite what Paul stated. Also ms camcorder was last included in MS office 97 and not with office 2000 or office xp so not much help and windows movie maker does not seem to support screen capture. So I think it is back in Newtek court to build us a Powerpoint plug in.
