Lens Flare & Anamorphic

As far as I can read Lens flare are due to the camera-lens hood, and they are always in the same shape as the number of blades.

I am rendering FilmRes in 2K Anamophic format, where PixelAspect = 2

For those who arent familiar with this, here is a page

LW allows Anamorphic lens flare, as well as XDOF for the appropriate DOF effect.

Though I am wonderging if the Lens Anamorphic factor should be equal to 1, 2, 2.35. The question arises because I am not certain if this number is applicable to normal renderings or anamorphic renderings ?

I would expect this to be automated, subject to the Pixel Aspect.
