The lighting was fprime monte carlo 2 bounces 150%, two area lights, 1 bounce card.
I had planar maps for the joints, which i used for bump, diffuse, spec, and reflection...the rest of the metal is mainly procedural turbulance in the bump, reflection, and spec channels. Attached are the maps, a wire, the straight lw renders, and an early test i did where the material looks more plasticy.

Incredible surfacing. Modeling is great, but what really stood out to me was the surfacing. Nice work.
