Hello Family!

I have problem with PC noise..I record our worship services into the hard drive weekly but I'm getting PC noise and I dont know why. Well honestly, I get PC noise if I record anything into tricaster. Whether its a commercial or the announcements, anything really! The noise is kind of similar to engine noise in a car audio/radio system. My audio is coming into my TCPro via XLR from a 24 Channel Mixin Console. Can someone help me!!??? How can I reduce the PC noise in Tricaster?

Are you sure the noise is emanating from within the Tricaster itself and isn't present in the feed being sent into it?
How do you feed the Tricaster audio?

Try recording a segment with *nothing* connected to the TriCaster's audio inputs. Now stop recording -- then play back newly-recorded "blank clip" in the built-in VCR. Still get the noise? Is it louder in either one of the two channels (left or right)?

It's possible a flat-ribbon audio cable inside, has slipped into a location that's in close proximity to the RAM chips on the motherboard. If your dealer can't help, perhaps you should place a call to 1.800.TOASTER and ask for NewTek Tech Support, on Monday. They'll be able to help you track it down, and get it dealt with.

Jim_C, to answer your question, Yeah its coming from inside I believe. The audio comes into my TC Pro via Channel 1 XLR input..

Quiet1, Ok I will try to record something as you instructed today.. Thank you for those ideas!
