Can SpeedEDIT Edit with AVCHD?
SE can't use AVCHD directly on the timeline. You would need to convert those files with some 3rd party application.

Hi,
TMPGEnc Xpress 4 newest version also ingests AVCHD and outputs to any of the HD outputs. If you are an TMPGEnc user, a reasonable upgrade path is likely.
Still, native support would be a plus.
