They are pictures of golf courses, lawns etc. front-projected on a surface.

A great example of why someone should not post while drinking heavily. :beerchug:

I've never seen these side effects ... I bet it's not alcohol ...

Don't mean to thread jack, but it's along the same lines.

I'm making a archvis scene and was planning on using Saslite to create grass since there'll be animation fly-throughs. Unfortunately, Sasquatch and Saslite don't seem to be supported under UB Lightwave.

Any suggestions on how to create grass without those plugins? Or if anyone knows of a good tutorial for grass I'd love to read it.

Oh wait...

If anyone knowth of a good tutorial for grath I'd love to read it.

Search on forums for clipmap grass or something similar. It's my favourite. For now...

I watched the LWCAD 3 videos. Exciting stuff. I'm glad I upgraded to 2.5 when I did since 3 will be free.

I'm left wondering what the impact will be for rendering... it seems he's adding geometry unlike Saslite's pixel filters. But from what I understand, Saslite had a pretty big processing time.

Megalodon, between the three options you listed, which would you personally use, and why?
