What a terrible loss. He was truely a pioneer in his field. He will be sorely missed.

OMG! That is awful news, he worked on some of my favourite films of all time, that is truly a sad loss to the industry and audiences across the world.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends, he will be sorely missed.

Same here! Condolences to his family and his friends!!

I just recently picked up the hardcover book on Stan Winston Studios.

Its a real shocker.

You know what, this weekend I'm gonna pull some of his classics from my DVD collection and watch them as a tribute, he gave us so many iconic moments in film with his creations.
