View Full Version : LW9.5 Office Space Render
I render this in 9.5 beta. The lights was done using IES data. I noticed that the shadows are nicer better.

I like the image out the windows. It works really well, but I'd like to see some of that color splashing in.
My god, the chair model is thorough! Looks like half your modeling work went there.
The lighting and shadows are very good, although the models of the light fixtures don't look realistic to me. Perhaps I'm just unfamiliar with the brand, but they look flat and undetailed.
Great work!

Very nice! The 'Apple' logo, are they pears? :)

Yes, they are actually pears :) Couldn't really use an apple.

Yeah, I kinda agree, they should be to scale, but it wouldn't hurt making them slightly thicker to bring it out more.

Really looking great indeed  Love the pears on the comps
Also the AA is just perfect, Could tell us what AA setting and reconstruction method you used ? is that a scaled down version of a higher resolution render ?

Can you tell us your light settings and any other non default settings that produced this great picture. TIA

not exactly sure how much I can say since 9.5 is still in beta, but I can say that it was rendered at a higher resolution and scaled down.
Couldn't really use an apple.
Really? Why not? I would have!

Very nice work SP. Lighting and surfaces spot on. The brick jumped out at me at first, but I think it's just the general grey tones that are the reason, and the camera distortion in the top left.
Great!
I'd love to know more about your lighting setup, GI render settings and render time on this one.
Thanks for the comment guys. Really appreciate it.
I have to keep this generic just because I'm using the beta and I can't say much about it. But the number of light fixtures are the number of lights I used. Gathering together with tri-force bounce and 1 moon to render. Hope that helps. :D

Not really! ;)

Actually, just ask me in the beta forum. I can be clear there.
