Hi everybody
I have a couple of questions concerning rigging a character in lightwave 7.5.
1) I have created a robot complete with joints etc..
2) I have rigged his legs to be manipulated usings IK
( I have used the same method as the bones IK i created 6 nulls named them and placed them. they manipulated the legs fine but i cant get the character legs to stop on the floor when i move the pelvis Down. (Unlike a organic looking character whith Bones weight maps ect.) The legs of the robot bend slightly but then proceed to go through the floor. If anybody can help to sort this out that would be great !!!
P.S I tried to move my character (in modeler) up so that his feet
are at point (X,0,Y,0,Z,0) BUT the pivot points stayed where they were originally can you move multiple pivot points in one go? or do i have to do each one separately ? which will take time i dont have !!!
