I have used DVrack for a while in the field to disk record. I also would record to an external drive hooked up USB2, and it has worked for at least 3 years,
I had successfully upgraded to On Location CS3. After an adobe auto upgrade thing, the software has stopped working and requires a re-install.
I am out of time, because the shoot is in a few hours.
I also have SE 1.5 on my laptop. I know that I have captured many times with the software. My question is can I route the output to the “monitor” in SE during capture, or am I bound to the “capture” window. My attraction to DVrack/on Location is that my entire laptop screen becomes the monitor. That is handy in the field. I will be dragging the trusty Panasonic to be safe, but I hope that SE will do this trick where I can have a large window to monitor the captures.
I leave soon, but if anyone has any other ideas (except wait on an e-mail from Adobe.), I would appreciate it.
I could take my TCP, but that is overkill, and this is a 3 camera ISO shoot, so I really need another solution where I could record all of these feeds to a single box, and edit later tonight. If only If Only If only
What I will be doing is hooking up a USB hub to my laptop, and I will start cutting tonight. There’s not a lot to do in a Super8, so editing is what I actually like to do.
thx
