How do you set up speededit so its user interface looks like the one on the demo page. http://http://www.newtek.com/speededit/images/screenshot.jpg
I can switch to vertical split but can not add extra panels.
Cheers

AFAICS, the extra panels are simply the Video Output window and Clip Properties (F8).

Crl+I opens an "Add Media" window.
I went through the same puzzle.
First you reduce the size of the main program window with the two vertical split panels. then open an Add Media window and a Video output window and size them to fit beside the main window. Or better yet... to fit on a second monitor.

to fit on a second monitor Donx
Yep, was using 2 monitors for awhile, but then found my workflow works best, with 1394 preview, using an old miniDV. Then instead of making a file on a SE only PC or Laptop, record 16:9 into a VT.
