hey everyone, I just got my website up and running a couple days ago, give it a visit and tell me what you think. All models were done in Lightwave, all textures in Photoshop.

Cool stuff man, although some of the textures could be a tad better. It's just that they look very uniform, makes them look more like toys, if that makes sense. They just don't look aged and battle scared. :D Much better than anything I can do though. GJ

If by the last two episodes, you mean episodes I and II then trust me Riki, you're not missing much.
Whatever talent that Lucas had back when he made the original star wars has leaked out of him. He's back to his 'Howard the Duck' days in terms of movie making.

Yo Kris! Welcome aboard... to the, uh, boards. Nice site, nice models. If I had a suggestion, it would be to break up the procedurals a bit on the texturing. I like the detail... the Clawcraft came out looking pretty sweet. I'll be checking for updates!
haha yeah I guess I've had a deprived life, I've only seen about two episodes of Star Trek , one of them was a movie. :)

Hey hey! This is Matt. I was cruz'n the boards on my lunch break here in Raleigh, and I saw Star Wars post...And just knew it would probably be you :D . Not too shabby really. I would concur that some dirt maps to break up the texturing would be nice. And, the pictures could use some more light(s), or maybe a lighter background with gradients or something (although I guess these are supposed to be space). Cool site. I'll bookmark it. I'll see 'ya next semester.

actually, the texturing was all manual. They aren't proceedurals. I'm gonna do some more work with them to get them more photorealistic. Do me a fave though and do some posting on my web board cause I'd love to get some regulars there.
It was good to hear from the school guys.

Good work, all the models are looking good, but do me (and yourself) a favour: model all the ones from the original movies, last two were dire and ep 3 is gunna suck big time
if you want some reference drawings on x-wings and stuff like that have a look on www.onnovanbraam.com, hes got a whole section of starwars vehicle blueprints

well, I'll probably model all the classic stuff long before I model the PT stuff. But I do want to eventually model virtually everything.
