well thats not easy man...well i dont know what u wanted to show. the character should look like a comic figure? or more real? or fantasy? we should have a base from where to critisize or to give some hints. so far nothing special is shown. a charecter more or the less well modeled and some face morphs. i dont wanna be a *****, but perhaps u tell more about the project or the aim ur heading for so we can comment it better. pls take that as an advice and not as offensive critism.

The motions are fairly static and aren't very interesting. The only things moving in the animation are the arms and the head. You need to add a lot of other subtleties to the animation. Like have the character switch his balance from one foot to the other when he goes to catch the ball on his finger. Have him arch his back a little because he threw the ball back a little closer to him. The ball is another point. I think he throws it up a little too high and it goes up straight, yet it seems to come down in a different spot. I would put the camera so you can see the ball's motion. It should move in an arc somewhat. The fingers don't move at all, he should cradle the ball a bit more. There doesn't see to be any weight to his actions. Like when the hand goes onto the hip at the end, it just snaps to his side instead of going to rest on the hip with the hand/fingers molding around it
I'm not sure it's ready for a showreel yet, but keep working on it. On the positive side, I don't think that the timing is bad at all, it's just too linear right now.

when throwing the ball up into the air, the motion should start w/a slight bending of the knees, then contration of the mid section (butt out, shoulder forward), hands (holding ball) slightly down and in towards the body, then the recoile... of the body parts leading to the throw up. Basically revers it for the catch.
