Hi everyone..
Im stuck with a little annoying thing..
In Surface Editor, while working a surface, I accidentally click on the 'E' button for enveloppe next to diffuse. hoops! How can i remove it?
Please don't tell me i have to work out all a fresh new surface and copy paste it!!!
I think there should be a button somewhere like the "remove texture" from the "T" button, but I don't know where...please help!!!

Shift click on the [E].
that works with all [E] button, as well as [T] buttons.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Patrick,
I honestly don't remember, even though I've read _all_ manuals since 4.0 :)
Well, I just checked: LW7 Manual, PDF, Chaper 2.8, Working with the Interface.
I guess next time I can safely post a short RTFPDF ;)
I have to admit, it is hard to find...
Cheers,
Mike
classic example of how LW's interface doesn't help the user!

Hi LurkerMatt, Grand Master of Interface Design ;)
I think Tool Tips would be nice, no more is needed in thiis case. If the tool tip tells you once, you know it (especially with an often used function like this).
One should be able to switch them off of course...
Cheers,
Mike
LW does have some Tool Tips like in the Graph Editor. But this could be utilized more widely.

Right mouse button click with contextual menu:
- Add
- Delete
- Copy
- Cut
- Paste
- ... and so on ...
Maybe the final solution! ;)
Bye.

Exper:
I've made some suggestion in this area in the [8] Interface thread.
I'd still like to keep the mouse shortcuts on those buttons, it's just too handy.

I've known to use shift for a long time to remove an envelope. However, I still think it would make much more sense to have a button in the graph editor that says remove envelope, push it, you're out of the graph editor and you no longer have a highlighted E. Saves a step. Two actually if you consider closing the graph editor a step, hitting shift a step, and clicking the E button the third step when all you should have to do is hit the remeove envelope button.

hrgiger,
would that only remove the currently selected envelope, or all envelopes in the the channel bin?
