Hello everyone,
here is a phone i made last week, i started with box modelling, lightwave subdivs are great for such shapes, then i also used boleans.

Great start. My only c+c, I'm not so keen on the sun-flowers. You may want to consider some break-up in your specular hits, they're way too clean even for a new object.

Nice little phone.

I would only add a little LED near the top that could flash for when the phone rings, but is on quiet/mute... You could of course have the whole display light up as well for that...

I would also make some tiny holes in the bottom where the sound goes in (and maybe something near the top to listen as well)... Maybe a connector for an ear-plug on the side... and most likely something in the back for a battery or another connector for recharge at the bottom...

I'm already working on something else, so i won't touch this phone anymore but i plan to do another one in a near future so i'll keep in mind every critic here.

Mobiles are a blessing and a curse. I can't even take a shower these days without providing tech support to one of my clients :)

i kinda thought it must open up, so the dial pad would be inside, and prahaps a bigger screen?

Dialing could be done with the screen and the little knobs...

It looks like a bit like my Docomo flip phone, only cooler. However, the latest trend is to have a digital camera built in. Maybe put a lens on it.
