For those of you who have labored through the Inside Lightwave book and had lots of fun with he skyscraper, you may recall applying about 5 different inside interiors to around 80000 windows... ;) Was that fun or was it?
I checked Flay for a plugin that could do a Random select/deselect of polygons for future models and only found a commercial/demo one... (CustomSelect?).
Time to learn LScript, since this is a nice function to have ;)
To make a long story longer, I have made a page on my website here (http://www.richardprins.com/graphics/lwplugins.asp) to store the LScript. It currently works only on polygons, but will be updated for points as well shortly...
I am attaching this first version here as well... Have fun!
PS Select a number of polyons first, run the script, enter the percentage of random polygons to deselect.
