Does anybody know if the short video clip in the gallery section of the HVcomet that Kevin Quattro made has a tutorial available? I'd like to recreate that for a video that I'm making. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!:)

Hello there,

I am not aware of a tutorial specifically for that "comet" look, but look at this link to find some HV related tutorials:

I'm also currently writing up a tutorial for a new Lightwave magazine on hypervoxels; that's not due out for a few months however.

Hope that helps!

yuphh,

Larry's DVD is giving you tons of ideas.

However, there're also still these around:
http://desktopimages.com/Hypervoxels.shtml
which I first thought were out of date, but then turned out to be very informative indeed.

PB really goes through every option in the HV panel and explains every parameter (no matter if useful or not).
It helped me a lot to understand all these 'incredible' options put in by the programmers - and left out by the technical writers.

Anyway, these days computer speeds help to explore HVs relatively comfortably by yourself. In the end it's the old game of creativity that is required by the artist ... and that's where Larry comes back into play: he shows you how to use the tools in a very creative manner.

Happy HV-playing.
