View Full Version : "Speckled" polygons in layout

Even though I have no textures in my model when I render a frame in layout some parts of it are er.. dotted or speckled, How do I get rid of these?

Look for area lights that are too big and close in relation to your object.

The other way this can happen is if you are using Global Illumination with a low quality setting. I think rays per evaluation is the one you adjust, but I could be wrong it has been a while since I used GI.

And if you have any Ambient Occlusion shaders that can make it grainy too.
