View Full Version : not more details!?
Hi all
I need a critical view:hey:
It should be clean but not too clean
Its a backdrop for a trash can, yes for a trash can

hmmm try making the street a little darker maybe add some occlusion to it to give it a dirty look like the road is used.

The wall edges to the window are still a bit sharp, and something is going on with the doorway texture ... may be easier to model it than map it ...
Brown bins are very reflective, perhaps a blur ?
I like it! :)

It looks great to me. It has a sense of depth especially it your later renders where you have the camera set at an angle. It does seem like it might be a bit well kept for a real street. Maybe you could add just a bit of leaves or paper here and there or something you might expect to see in the real world. Though I do agree with keeping it uncluttered for the most part. The only thing that really stands out to me actually is the proportions on the door. It seems too squat maybe for its hight. That may have something to do with the top being round. Also the panel seems to pop out a little too far.
I love the last one :D
The textures look a little heavy on the street and pavement but other than that it's pretty cool.
Thanks Ian, rakker16mm, archijam and oobievision
yes, textures and edges must be revised
primarily i take renderings with dof, but the dof conflict with the ambient occ nodes, its look like a black corona and no blur8~8~8~

Love the texturing although the drainpipe looks a little too dark for me.
To break up the pavement area you could put some little weeds inbetween the cobbles maybe? That would help to make it look a little less uniform.

Looks good-- I'd definitely add some finer structure--i.e, multiple panes-- to the windows. The masonry on the buildings might also benefit from being scaled down a bit--right now you've got some some huge slabs of stone on the facing.
