I do love old cars, much more than new ones besides
and especially DS for us frenchies are special as were for
years the cars of all our presidents (well they were rather
black but…)
very nice images anyway,
few comments :
- the critic : I would decrease quite much the scale of the bump texture of the ground, looks a bit strange there…
- how do you get these reflexions ? I mean the fact that only the luminosity and contrasts of the environnement are reflected but almost no colors, it's something I'm wondering for a while…
- take care of the reflexion blurring : it looks nice but in real world
it almost never happens on cars : at the opposite the reflexions are very clean
and sharp (even if the colors are not reflected)…

thanks for your criticize...
reflexions? it's simple just choose any color you want,
specularity=16%
glossines=40%
reflection=19%
but you must use light only from hdri map (i use campus_probe for enviroment)
I didn't use any reflexions blurs... it's just a jpg :(
ps. sorry for my english

Great job... Nice seeing the goddess in 3D...
I agree with the cool thing of making older cars back in 3D... I was looking for blueprints of a DAF the other day (not as beautiful a car as the DS, but one of the very Dutch cars, so for historical reasons), but unfortunately could not find them...
It seems to get almost 'mandatory' to do a car in LW, so I definitely want to do one, it is just finding the right model... Old SAABs are cool too...
Again, great job!

Yes, I know those... not there ;)
How many polygons did you end up with for the DS?
not much... about 11000 (almost all are subdivision)
