Greetz, all,
First time here. I've been using VT4.6 to stream our church services for a few months now. I've read the chapter on streaming in the manual and use VT along with Windows Media Encoder 9. I've been using the encoder to send video output of 640x480. Looking to improve the video quality, I recently realized that VT is sending video output of 320x240 and I can't see how to change this. (Explains why the image was so grainy :D )
I followed the tutorial on how to use WME9 to make new streaming profiles for VT (http://www.newtek.com/vt/tutorials/streamingprofiles/index.php) and attempted to send 640x480 output from VT this way to no avail.
On a side note, I also recently started to get about 4 lines of pink and green noise at the top of my stream video. It's consistent from any camera view and close inspection reveals that this fuzzy area is actually supposed to be the content at the bottom of the screen. Video output seen on the VT preview windows and auditorium screens is clean, yet the noise is visible in the WME9 preview window and is seen by any streaming video client.
Any pushes in the right direction are appreciated.
Grazi!
