Does anyone know how or even if Aura can do color eliminations like Photoshop can (ie; continious selections) as apposed to selecting all pixels in same color group?

Seems sometimes green and bluescreens look ok to the eye but when I go to remove either, there are some lighter and darker places that when included to be removed, there are some pixels being removed from skin that I don't want removed and are not connected to screen color.

I think that a continious only button would fix this problem, but I can't find the solution.

Thanks

You can gain some added control over what is keyed and what is not (to control spill) using the Saturation Fade controls in Filters>Chromakeyer. You could also try the CrossKeyer.

I'm not acquainted with 'continuous' keying, such as you describe in 'that other application, so can't comment on similarities.

Tried all those and no luck:(

Continious is the grabbing of a magic wand or other tool that is a selector tool, and selecting a color and it ONLY selects the same color that butts up to the pixel ya select.
so if you pick a shade of blue it will continue to select that shade as long as another is adjasent to it, and wont Jump colors to select others.

Was gonna try to cut an anim brush and use that to 'erase' the same colors in all frames of video but even if I select 'all frames' in layer panel it only cuts the first frame and then stays same thruout anim and just cuts the same pattern.

Been waitin 2 years for singer to come here from Virginia, and it just happened to be the same week my Toaster board was in to be repaired:mad:

So had to set bluscreen up by sight to record on camera.
Now she is gone back and I have to work with slightly differing gradients of blue, from slight shadowing and lighting.

So...right now I am stuck doing frame by frame (1 hour of music video) untill I find a way around this:(

Got the idea, thanks. Depending on the amount and location of the problematic areas in the foreground, you can sometimes get around the problem. For example, if most of the trouble is well within a given region even taking motion into account, you can use an inverted stencil to lock keying out of that area- kind of a reverse garbage matte concept.

Another way to 'fill in the holes' - duplicate the layer before keying. Key the top layer as best you are able, paying most attention to edges, not worrying about inner parts. Use any drawing tools you like to paint in the 'holes' in the foreground. Turn on the Preserve alpha button, and merge the lower layer onto the upper one. This will of course replace all opaque areas with the original colours, including aread that you spray painted or otherwise blocked in manually.
